We've covered a little bit of the known details for Devil Survivor 2, an upcoming SRPG for the DS. (In Japan, anyway.) The Earth is invaded by the Septentrion (they look like Angels), and it's mainly up to a trio of high school students to fend them off. Atlus has just released some details about additional characters, along with a trailer to show off their designs.

N NIS America announces Bleach: Soul Resurrección for PS3

Games based on the anime Bleach haven't had a lot of luck making the trip to North America, especially those on Sony consoles. NIS America is taking a step to change that by releasing Bleach: Soul Resurrección, an action-adventure game for the PS3.

C ESRB wants to rate more games

The ESRB has created a new revenue stream for itself. That is to say, they've implemented a streamlined rating process that will allow them to quickly issue ratings for digital releases through Xbox Live, the Playstation Store, and WiiWare. It's a system that could eventually extend to apps on Apple and Android devices.

Redbox, "America's movie rental destination", has dabbled in offering games alongside DVDs and Blu-rays. Now they're really ready to take the operation nationwide. Starting June 17, 2011, games will be available at over 21,000 locations across the country.
