N Forza Motorsport 4 rolls to the starting line in fall 2011

Microsoft has teased some more details for the recently announced Forza Motorsport 4 via press release. Most of its the standard points: "rosters of dream cars and tracks", "bone-jarring physics", and "unparalleled levels of customisation." Basically, "Forza Motorsport 4” will be the most expansive and vividly realistic automotive experience across any console, bringing you closer to the edge than you’ve ever been before." Impressive. From my perspective, the release may as well have said "impenetrable" levels of customization. After viewing the full complement of tuning options available in Forza Motorsport 3, I know I'll never be useful tinkering under the hood. For novices like me, Kinect may be the major hook. FOrza 4's integration with the peripheral will allow players to "step through the TV screen and jump into the driver’s seat." Forza 4 will also offer tie-ins with Top Gear, the popular motoring TV series that has just pushed into the American market. Specifics weren't outlined, but the Forza 3 Ultimate Collection included a Top Gear car pack, 90-minute video, and a dashboard theme. Look for Forza Motorsport 4 in Q3 2011.
