Sony has tentatively set a November release date for Heavy Rain: Move. From reports, this version of the year's hit thriller game is only an update to the controls, but will be free to those who already own the game.

The good news is that the developers promise this will be the definitive Heavy Rain experience and that the game's various scenes will feel more immersive and fluid than ever.

The bad news? All development of the chapters of the Heavy Rain Chronicles (the DLC of which the Taxidermist is currently the only product) has been halted until further notice.

Whether progress on the Chronicles will continue after the Move edition is released has not been decided yet.

Eurogamer hosted an interview last month to get David Cage's thoughts on the matter. For those who missed it, click here
