When you meet the Sphinx in Dragon's Dogma 2, she poses a series of confounding riddles and challenges. You can tackle them in any order you like, but it makes sense to start from the top. Therefore, your first challenge is likely to be the Riddle of Eyes.

Dragon's Dogma 2 - How to solve the Riddle of Eyes

When you begin the Riddle of Eyes, the Sphinx asks you to head through a nearby door she opens. Inside, she expects you to find and retrieve "that which is of greatest value." Of course, value is in the eye of the beholder, but one prize is obviously quite rare and exciting. To solve the Riddle of Eyes, you must deliver the Sealing Phial to the Sphinx.

When you enter the cave, you'll find the lighting is quite poor. That's typical of caves you visit throughout the game, and hardly a surprise by this point. Ahead, a dangerous chamber stretches into the earth. You can explore and fight monsters, but there's basically no need.

Look right near the entrance to find some rock ledges. Climb the rock ledges to find a treasure chest resting near the top. When you open the chest, you will acquire the Sealing Phial. It is an exceedingly rare item you can use to hold the NPC of your choice. However, you can (and should) turn it over to the Sphinx.

Once you have the Sealing Phial, there's no reason to linger in the cave. Descend to the lower level and head out the door, then up the steps to meet with the Sphinx. Ask to solve the Riddle of Eyes, and present her with the phial when you get to choose. She will examine it and then agree that you have made the correct choice.  Your can open the chest behind her to receive a Wakestone as your reward. She also hands over the Sealing Phial. There's work yet to do in order to clear the Sphinx's questline, but at least you're off to a good start.
