Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance releases on June 14, 2024, and that can only mean one thing: a barrage of trailers and information in the weeks leading up to its release. Gamers received the latest example of the former of those items earlier today, when Atlus released its ‘An Ideal World’ trailer.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, originally released as a Switch timed exclusive with less vengeance, is headed to PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo platforms. It features a new storyline path: the Canon of Vengeance.
In the expanded title, players can expect next-gen visuals, new areas, demons, and music, as well as an improved battle system. Combined, those various elements should provide a richer gameplay experience… which is not to say the original version lacked in quality; it currently has a perfectly acceptable Metacritic score of 84.

Side note: no, I didn't accidentally attach an image of the Fire Emblem Engage hero to this article. They are in fact two completely different characters, even if they don't look like it.
