Just2D and Deck13 Spotlight today announced Drova 2: Torn Lands, the action-RPG sequel to Drova: Forsaken Kin. The game is headed to consoles and PC in 2027.
In Drova 2: Torn Lands, players will return to the Otherworld, where the Dark Fog is now gone. However, things aren't free and clear. A massive ravine splits the land in two, with an unknown threat hiding in its depths.
Today's press release promises "exactly what players would expect from a worthy successor," and goes on to say the sequel will provide a slightly larger but similarly detailed world, improved and expanded combat, two new factions, more decisions to make that influence the plot, new cultures, and zero quest markers.
"With every design decision," states the press release, "the premise is to take the player seriously."
Drova: Forsaken Kin fared quite well after its release in 2024, generating a Metascore of 78 after seven critical reviews, and an even better score of 8.3/10 from readers. For fans of old school RPG gaming, it could be one to watch in 2027. For more information, check out the official Steam page, or watch the trailer embedded above.
