Hope Timbre, the upcoming first title from developer Linnet Solutions, has a new demo available. You can play it for free while you wait for the game to release.
In Hope Timbre, players explore strange structures floating in space, manipulating the architecture to clear puzzles that let them advance to the next challenge. It looks a bit like screenshots I've seen of Monument Valley, which may or may not play something like it.
I guess playing the demo would give me a better idea, right? But you might not have time for that. In that case, here's a trailer:
Hope Timbre continues adding complications as you proceed through its Slavic-inspired world. As you explore, you'll find Hope Instruments, which you take with you when you return to the waking world. They can help heal two ailing siblings, grow an old tree, summon the Spring, and may even allow you to escape a never-ending cycle.
According to the press release, there are no fail states in Hope Timbre. Puzzles were designed to avoid the necessity for restarts, which should allow you to experiment without the pressure some more demanding puzzle games produce. It all looks pretty wholesome, if you ask me.

Linnet Studios may be a new company, but the team previous worked on two titles from Amanita Design: Botanicula and Chuchel. If you played and enjoyed those games, know that this is what comes next.
Hope Timbre will participate in Steam Next Fest, from Oct. 19 - 26, which means you probably haven't heard the last of it this year. The full game is probably not far away, since I see it still scheduled to arrive in 2026 on the official listing on Steam.
