The Sanrio characters you and/or your little one know and love are headed to Switch and Switch 2 in Hello Kitty Party Land. The game arrives on Oct. 29, 2026, but you can watch a new trailer today to get a look at the gameplay.
Developed and published by Bandai Namco, Hello Kitty Party Land features solo play for those who need it, or local and online multiplayer modes for folks who want to compete with friends and strangers.
In the trailer, you'll see how players can customize their avatar to create their own special character. You'll also get a look at the charming town environment, complete with fun locations where players can enjoy a variety of games, make music, farm, fish, or just go strolling through the shopping mall.
Hello Kitty Party Land was developed with intuitive controls that should welcome new players who don't have experience with some of the publisher's more challenging fare, like Elden Ring. Whimsy is the goal here, not bloodletting.
According to the press release, Hello Kitty Party Land features 145 characters and dozens of minigames. It sounds like the perfect addition to your library, if you have a small child in your home who loves all things cute and cuddly (or even if you love them yourself; we're not judging).
If you would like more information about Hello Kitty Party Land, check the official site for all the sweetness you can handle. Also, know that it is available to preorder on the Nintendo eShop for $49.99 USD, on both Switch and Switch 2. Physical editions appear to be priced the same, or you can pay $69.99 USD for the Premium Edition package at Walmart.
