Side Mission 027: Restored from a Fossil

In Lumios City, fossils might contain all sorts of exciting things. With so many excitig discoveries on the horizon, how do you choose which fossils to prioritize?

Side Mission 027 begins at the Pokemon Research Lab. Head there when the icon appears. Enter the building and use the elevator to ride to 2F: Laboratory. You'll meet Reg, who asks you to make a choice on his behalf. When you accept, he gives you 20,000 Poke Dollars to cover expenses.

Buy either a Sail Fossil or a Jaw Fossil at the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue and give it to the requester.

As instructed, make your way to the Stone Emporium. Vernal Avenue is the main road leading north from the Pokemon Research Lab, and the Stone Emporium is the last of the shops in that direction.

The shop is open at all hours. When you enter, you are presented with a menu of its wares. Both the Jaw Fossil and the Sail Fossil are available at a price of 20,000 Poke Dollars. Choose whatever one you like. I went with the Sail Fossil.

Take your purchase back to Reg. Talk to him and then select the fossil you bought from the menu that appears (it is under the Other Items category). Reg will check the fossil and then announce what it contained. In my case, that was the Amaura. Reg gave it to me to keep.

The mission itself also rewards you with 2,500 Poke Dollars, a Hard Stone, and Kelpsy Berry x10. Don't forget to return with other fossils to see what else you can get.
