Side Mission 039: Slowpoke for Slowpoke

You might not know it, but the same breed of Pokemon may vary slightly different across various regions. This mission celebrates such differences.

You'll meet Quille in the western portion of the city, not far north from where you first arrived in the city by train as the game began. He proposes a trade.

Trade a Slowpoke for the requester's Slowpoke.

Quille has a “Galarian” version of Slowpoke, which has different markings than the ones you typically see around the city. If you want to complete the side quest, all you need to do is select a spare Slowpoke from your box and hand it over to Quille.

You don't want to trade a Slowpoke you've leveled up a lot. Any old Slowpoke will do the job. You can find them right near the entrance of Wild Zone 10, among other places.

Agree to make a trade and you'll be taken to your boxes. Scroll through them and find the Slowpoke you're ready to lose, then confirm the trade. In exchange, you receive a poison-type Slowpoke. Quille promises something special will happen once it evolves.

Besides the rare Slowpoke, completing the mission nets you 1,000 Poke Dollars, a Pearl, and a Power Belt.
