Side Mission 025: Trubblesome Patrons

One side mission in the game is absolute garbage, and this is that side mission.

When you begin it, you'll meet with Fumi outside Cafe Pokemon-Amie, who explains a situation: some Pokemon known as Trubbish have taken to gathering outside her restaurant, and their stench chases away patrons.

Speak to the requester to receive a bag of Tasty Trash.

Talk to Fumi again and agree to help. She'll hand over a bag of Tasty Trash.

Take the Trubbish to the garbage drop off spot.

Now that you have the Tasty Trash, the Trubbish will follow you. However, they're only capable of moving slowly. That means you need to lead them along the alleys at a walk or slow trot to avoid losing them.

Start walking forward along the alley. You'll need to take a few turns as you go, all without running too quickly. I found that the easiest way to do this is to move the left analog stick slightly forward and then hold it in place. Just use the right analog stick to control which directions you turn as you walk.

Head straight along the main alley, left around a slight corner, and then veer sharply right. Follow that alley around a corner leading right and then back left, toward the green bins placed against the wall ahead of you. Investigate them as you arrive and spin the camera to make sure the Trubbish are nearby, then Drop it off to set the trash in the bins.

If you didn't navigate the short course too quickly for your pursuers, they will arrive in short order. You receive 1,200 Poke Dollars, Rare Candy x2, and Dusk Ball x5.
