Side Mission 024: An Abra Playmate

A boy named Bond dreams of playing with an Abra, and you're just the Pokemon Trainer to make it happen.

Trade an Abra for the requester's Rielu.

East of Wild Zone 3 and a short distance west from the Hibernal Pokemon Center, in an Academie Etoile courtyard, you'll find a boy named Bond. He wants to trade his Rielu for your Abra. To complete the mission, all you have to do is make that trade.

Unfortunately, Abra is not super easy to acquire as a general rule. If it spots you approaching, it may warp out of the area. It also tends to appear only in less convenient locations.

While there are a few high-elevation places you might find an Abra, I suggest you begin your search in Wild Zone 5. Make your way to the northern portion of that area, which you can find when you head through the canals. Partway through the canal, climb a ladder to reach the local rooftops. Once you are on the roof, have a fire-type Pokemon burn away some brambles so you can access an outdoor patio area. Then climb to another roof and look out over the space.

In my case, an Abra was sitting out in the open. You can drop down and try to catch it, if you're sneaky. There are others in the surrounding vicinity, as well. You should have a few chances to catch one.

Bring the Abra back to Bond and make the trade to receive your reward: Riolu. You also get 300 Poke Dollars and Exp. Candy XS x5.
