Main Mission 13: A Rogue Mega Victreebel
As you complete Main Mission 10: The Secrets of Mega Evolution, you attend a strategy meeting where the team members discuss plans to take down three Rogue Pokemon monsters. You can target the three monsters in any order you like, and each one has its own mission number.

It's easy to approach the Rogue Mega Victreebel, which waits on ground level near the northwest portion of the map. Get there quickly by heading northwest from the Quasartico Inc. building until you reach the Magenta District. Then turn left along the street and head in that direction until you find Naveen standing near your target, which waits in a courtyard.
Boss Battle: Rogue Mega Victreebel
As fights with Rogue Mega enemies go, this one might just be the easiest… provided you have a strong Pokemon of the Fire type. The ideal example of this would be a Tepig evolved into an Emboar. However, not all players will have that option available. In that case, an evolved Camerupt could also work.

When you battle the Rogue Mega Victreebel, the process is pretty standard. Start out by launching any fiery attacks you can, making sure they are ‘+’ moves. That way, you cause energy to drop, and you can build up the meter that will allow a Mega Evolution. Naveen will help with Ariados, but you should be the main one doing damage. Naveen and his Pokemon are mostly just distractions.
The Rogue Mega Victreebel likes to spread pools of purple poison around the ground. They are fairly big, and sometimes placed close together. They can be tough to dodge, but you can't exactly stay still; the Victreebel likes to hop around the area, and you don't want it to slam you with an attack. Sometimes, it will also spit a stream of seeds at the Pokemon Trainer and allies. You want to keep moving to avoid getting pegged with too many of these, because it's not difficult at all to get knocked out in this battle when the Pokemon targets you directly.
Keep an eye on your Pokemon's life meter, since poison attacks can cause it to quickly drain. Use a couple of Mega Evolution rounds to quickly burn through its defenses and ultimately win the fight. The less time that effort requires, the easier the battle will go on you and your resources.
When you win the fight, you receive the Victreebelite and the mission concludes.
