Side Mission 028: Who Says Normal Is Weak?

Every Pokemon Trainer will have a particular type of monster they prefer. That's normal, right? For one such trainer, it certainly is!

You'll meet Marnole in Blue Sector 7, where he stands near a tree. Talk to him and he mentions how much he loves normal Pokemon, which have no outstanding weaknesses. He challenges you to a Pokemon battle.

Defeat the requester in a Pokemon battle.

When you accept Marnole the Sightseer's challenge, he brings out Audino, Watchog, and Lopunny. They are all normal, as you might have supposed. Because they're at level 29, you should expect a bit of a fight unless you've leveled up a bit past that. However, they fell pretty quickly to my Pignite and its reliable Flame Wheel ability. You should be fine as long as you attack with elemental powers that have good range. As usual, bring along a few potions to heal if necessary, though it shouldn't be.

When you win the fight, you receive 3,000 Poke Dollars and a Silk Scarf. Then the mission concludes.
