Side Mission 013: Stumped at the Fountain

An artist has a vision that doesn't include thorns. You'll have to help her realize that vision, though, because a bunch of persistent brambles have other ideas.

You will meet Croquis near the very northeast portion of Lumios City, about where you might find the “2” on an old clock. She asks you to burn away some brambles with help from your Pokemon.

Destroy the brambles by the fountain using Pokemon moves.

The brambles are a nasty bit of work, but you can destroy them with the right moves. In my case, that move was Flame Wheel, which Emboar learns. It quickly torches any of the nasty thorns.

If you didn't choose a Fire-type starter, you'll need to bring along a different one that has a move such as Ember. Some leading options include Fletchling, which you can find on many rooftops in the city. You could also use a Litleo, which roams Wild Zone 3.

You'll need to burn away three increasingly large batches of brambles to get the prize that awaits you at the end: 1,000 Poke Dollars and Nest Ball x3.
