Side Mission 036: Some Friendly Competition

The bonds between a Pokemon and their trainer is an important one, and this side mission celebrates that bond.

Defeat the requester in a Pokemon battle.

You'll find Chou seated at a table outside Wild Zone 9. She is proud of her evolved Pokemon, and anxious to prove their prowess in a battle with someone like you.

Agree to the battle and Chou the Sightseer will bring out Clefairy and Lopunny. They might pose a threat if you're at their level (34) or lower, but a difference of a few levels more can turn them fairly toothless. The best approach is to attack quickly, before they can drain your life. Have a few potions ready, just in case.

When you win the battle, the side mission concludes. You receive 3,000 Poke Dollars and a Soothe Bell.
