Side Mission 037: Binacle by the Boatload

When you go into business, you can't always choose who your efforts might attract, as a man named Barnie learns when his tour boat draws the attention of some unwanted Binacles.

Head northwest of Wild Zone 7, following the north side of the riverbank. When you reach the ramp that leads down toward the water, descend and head onto the dock, where you'll find Barnie.

Chase away the Binacle that are swarming around the boat.

Talk to Barnie and agree to help rid him of the Binacle. Then investigate the Binacle and select I'll chase them off when the prompt appears. A battle begins.

For this particular fight, you might have a bit of trouble if you try to use a Fire-type Pokemon such as Emboar. The Binacle use Water-based attacks that are super effective. However, they're also only at level 34. A sufficiently leveled fire Pokemon still has a chance (especially if you restore its life with potions).

A better strategy might be to bring out a strong Grass-type Pokemon, such as Pansage or Bellsprout. The method you can follow most efficiently will depend what all you have leveled up, and what moves are available. Even with a Grass-type Pokemon, you won't get far if you haven't equipped some powerful offensive moves.

When you win the fight, a scene follows and the mission concludes. Your rewards are 1,500 Poke Dollars and Pearl x3.
